India National Cricket Team batter Rinku Singh has revealed his new tattoo ahead of the T20I series against Bangladesh in Gwalior. Speaking to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rinku shared details about the tattoo he got in September. God’s plan is written inside a ring, symbolizing the sun’s rays.

He said that the unique markings on his tattoo, highlighting the straight lines, show the directions in which he hit five sixes on Yash Dayal’s bowling in the IPL 2023 game between KKR and GT. His two sixes went in the cover region and one over long-on. Another one was hit over long-off and one into deep fine leg.

“I have a habit of saying God’s Plan, and I got my tattoo based on that. It’s been some time since I got it done. The words God’s Plan is written inside a circle. The main aspect is the representation of the five sixes I hit. It changed my life, so it was important to include them,” he said.

KKR needed 29 runs in the final over of the game, and Yash Dayal was given the ball to stop the rival team. Rinku Singh hit five consecutive sixes and became a household name. Since then, Rinku has become a finisher and has won several games for India in the shortest format of the game. Rinku will be keen on getting runs for the Men in Blue, as he has managed just 62 runs in the last eight matches.

After starting brilliantly for the national team, the southpaw has been found struggling. He travelled to the ICC T20 World Cup with the Rohit Sharma-led team in the reserved category.
