Still looking to get away this December? Christmas might be just around the corner but there’s still time to snap up a last-minute bargain break.

According to the expert team at Omio, Seville is one of the cheapest destinations to fly to this December. The team found return flights from London for just £37.

The Spanish city is a fantastic winter destination for Britons who don’t like the cold and dreary weather.

Temperatures average around 17 degrees in December meaning there’s no need to pack a bulky winter coat.

In fact, winter is one of the best times to explore the pretty Spanish city as the temperature can soar above 40 degrees in summer.

While Seville isn’t famous for its Christmas celebrations, the city puts on an impressive display of lights on its main streets.

There are also several Christmas markets where tourists can pick up traditional Spanish festive treats. On New Year’s Eve, it’s a Spanish tradition to eat 12 grapes at each stroke of midnight to ring in the New Year with good luck.

Seville is the birthplace of tapas and tourists will be able to enjoy the city’s huge range of restaurants without needing to wait in line in December.

The Andalucian city was also recently named Europe’s most walkable city in a study from the team at Preply.

Tourists can easily explore the city on foot and will be able to walk between its main attractions such as Plaza de Espana and the Cathedral.

For a special winter treat, why not book a slot at the city’s famous Arab baths for a candlelit spa experience?
