India captain Rohit Sharma has completed 11,000 runs in the fifty-over format. The right-handed batter needed just 12 runs in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 match against Bangladesh, and he touched the mark with the help of a boundary in the fourth over of the team’s chase in Dubai.

Rohit is the fourth Indian batter to amass 11000 ODI runs. Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Virat Kohli are the first three other batters who scored 11,000 runs in one-day internationals.

Rohit Sharma went past Sachin Tendulkar to become the second-fastest Indian cricketer to complete the record. He is behind Virat Kohli, who completed 11,000 runs in 222 innings. Rohit took 261 innings while Sachin batted in 276 innings.
