The Indian Premier League 2025 is a few weeks away, and the former captain of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni, has joined the camp of his franchise to prepare for the 18th season of the tournament. He landed in Chennai to join some of his teammates. He has sparked retirement rumors once again.

Unlike previous seasons, this time, he sent a clear message to the fans in a different way.

The five-time champions will hold a camp at the Chepauk for a month before CSK take on Mumbai Indians on March 22 at home.

The video of his arrival in Chennai went viral after the fans decoded a message written on his t-shirt. The Morse code, using a telecommunication method that has dots and dashes, meant “One last time.” The fans got emotional. It seems he will bid adieu after the season.

Earlier, Dhoni said that he wants to enjoy the remaining time of his career like a child. “I retired from international cricket in 2019. I just want to enjoy cricket like a child. I used to play cricket from 4 pm after coming back from school. But if the weather doesn’t allow the game of cricket, we play football. I want to play with that kind of innocence,” he said.

He was retained as an uncapped player after the BCCI reintroduced the scrapped rule. According to it, any Indian player who hasn’t played international matches for five years or more can be retained or enter the auction as an uncapped player.
