Cardi B turned heads at Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 with not one, but two show-stopping looks that lit up the red carpet. While her first appearance—a dramatic pearl-fringe gown from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2024 couture show, accessorised with a live black crow—set social media abuzz, it was her second ensemble that truly made fashion history.
In a powerful blend of Indian craftsmanship and contemporary luxury, Cardi B stunned in a ruby-red couture creation titled Becoming Love by acclaimed Indian designer Rahul Mishra. Complementing the intricately hand-embroidered outfit was a breathtaking selection of fine jewellery from Tanishq, one of India’s most iconic jewellery houses.
The ensemble marked a significant moment for Indian luxury on a global platform. Tanishq, returning to the international fashion spotlight for the third time, presented its Radiance in Rhythm collection in partnership with Rahul Mishra. This exquisite line features a kaleidoscope of rare gemstones vivid emeralds, fiery rubies, orange sapphires, tanzanite, and tourmalines all crafted with the meticulous attention to detail that defines Indian artistry.
Speaking about the collaboration, Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer at Tanishq, told PTI:
“At Tanishq, we have always believed in the power of jewellery to transcend borders and tell stories that are both local and universal. Our third appearance in Paris is a tribute to India’s legacy of craftsmanship, brought to life through ethically sourced natural diamonds. Designer Rahul Mishra added, “The essence of this collaboration lies in our shared commitment to storytelling through design. With Tanishq, we’ve been able to amplify India’s heritage in a language that resonates with an international audience. This showcase is not just about fashion—it’s about celebrating culture, vision, and detail at the highest level.”
