Watch: David Warner makes a grand entry at SCG in a helicopter

Australia star opener David Warner, who recently hanged his boots from Tests and ODIs, is all set to feature in T20 leagues around the world. On Friday, January 12, Warner made a grand entry at the SCG as he landed in the ground via a helicopter to feature in the BBL match against Sydney Sixers.

Warner was in the Hunter region, where he celebrated his brother’s wedding before boarding on a chopper. Here is the video of Warner arriving at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

David will participate in three BBL games before going to UAE to join the Dubai Capitals in the ILT20 league.

Meanwhile, Warner’s teammate Sean Abbott joked that David is a bit Hollywood. ” He is a bit Hollywood, isn’t he, that’s very Davey.”

“I will take out my lime bike today, and I plan to do the same tomorrow night, riding out as Davey arrives. I’m happy they are making it possible because I think every cricket fan in the country wants to see David Warner in the BBL, and I’m excited to compete against him. He’s one of the best players globally and has been for a long time,” Abbott stated on his plans to welcome Warner.
