Former India captain and ex-BCCI President Sourav Ganguly lost his mobile phone which was reportedly stolen from his residence in Behala, Kolkata on Saturday. He then filed a complaint with the Thakurpukur police station on February 10th.

Ganguly shared with the authorities that his phone contained personal data and information and urged them to prevent any misuse. He mentioned that he was away for some work and left his phone at a particular spot in his residence before losing it. There is ongoing painting work at his residence and the masons working there would likely be questioned soon.

According to a report in HT Bangla, Ganguly was using a 1.6 lakh rupee worth of smartphone with support of 2 5G sim cards and the police have begun their investigation but the phone has not been traced yet.
