In preparation for the Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a busy home season that will include an ODI tri-series featuring South Africa and New Zealand in February 2025. The tri-series format is making a return to Pakistan’s international calendar next year. Additionally, the home season will see Pakistan host Test series against Bangladesh, England, and West Indies.

From August 2024 to January 2025, Pakistan will host seven Test matches in their home season. South Africa and New Zealand will play a tri-series consisting of four matches, including the final.

Pakistan faces a packed away schedule this season, with tours to Australia and Zimbabwe for ODI and T20I matches, followed by a comprehensive series in South Africa that will include a Boxing Day Test.

Following a home Test series against the West Indies, attention will turn to Champions Trophy preparations.

Highlighting Pakistan’s standing in international cricket, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced that the country will host up to five top international teams ahead of the 2025 Champions Trophy. The prestigious tournament is scheduled from February 19 to March 9, and the PCB has already penciled in the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match for March 1 in Lahore. However, the hosting of the Indian team remains contingent on the BCCI’s approval.
