“It was very difficult for the first few days. I had no idea how to deal with it. My friends and family were around but I couldn’t take it. The situation after a couple of days but moving on was not easy.
“You always play to win a World Cup trophy and it was our best chance as we were undefeated till the semi-final.
“I am proud of the players and couldn’t ask more as a captain. Also, I am thankful to the fans for their support. Their love helped me to get better,” he said.
