Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu is pleased with the positive atmosphere in the Indian team ahead of their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 semi-final against England. Rayudu watched the practice session of the Men in Blue in Guyana and was impressed with the players.

He spoke about the fearless brand of cricket that the Rohit Sharma-led team has played in the tournament so far. Sharma scored 92 off 41 balls against Australia in the last Super 8 stage game. He feels that luck will be with the Indian team on Thursday.

“Indian players are calm and composed. Their preparations have been spot on. Rohit Sharma knows his role and of the others as well. Whatever is controllable, they are controlling it. The luck is not under their control but I feel it will favor India because of their selfless brand of cricket,” he said on Star Sports.

Rayudu had a word with Rohit Sharma. Ambati was satisfied with the answers he got from the Indian skipper and hailed him for creating a positive dressing room atmosphere.
