“Life doesn’t make sense without you”: Shane Warne’s daughter remembers him on his death anniversary

Shane Warne’s daughter Brooke couldn’t hold back her emotions on the death anniversary of her father. The legendary bowler passed away on March 4.

Brooke revealed how she fought hard emotionally to deal with the massive loss. She remembered when the daughter-father watched the British period crime drama television series Peaky Blinders together.

“2 years today, Dad. It’s been the slowest and quickest 2 years without you. I feel like you were just here being silly with us and talking about how good the new season of Peaky Blinders is, and we will watch the next episode together when you come home. Life really doesn’t make sense without you here. We try and make you proud every day. I miss you; I love you forever.”

Warne died at 52 on March 4, 2022, after suffering a heart attack in Thailand.

The medical staff tried to revive him, but their efforts were unsuccessful. His sudden demise shocked everyone. He was experiencing chest pain and was on a 14-day liquid diet at the time of his death.

In his honor, he was given a state memorial service which was attended by thousands at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
