Katrina Kaif makes a stylish appearance in the Bad Newz trailer.

During the trailer launch of Bad Newz, Katrina Kaif was spotted in the movie trailer in a rather unique style.

The movie trailer of Vicky Kaushal starrer Bad Newz was released on June 28 in Mumbai. Along with Vicky, Tripti Dimri and Ammy Virk, the trailer also had a cameo of Vicky Kaushal’s wife and actor Katrina Kaif.

The film which is all set to release in the theatres on July 19, received a lot of love during the trailer launch. In one of the comedy scenes from the trailer, there is a photograph of Katrina Kaif that appears in which she is wearing a stunning lehenga set designed by couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

The ensemble features a lehenga skirt and dupatta with floral prints in red and yellow paired with a long-sleeved red blouse. The fluid texture of the dupatta is further enhanced with an intricately embroidered border in gold. The said image of Katrina which features in the film’s trailer features on her Instagram which Katrina posted on Dussehra in 2021 to wish her fans and well-wishers.

As a Sabyasachi bride and an individual who has loved showcasing his collections on various occasions, each ensemble adorned by Katrina has been a super hit. Red is Sabyasachi’s signature colour which every individual resonates with and it’s the craftsmanship that makes every piece stand out just like the star he styles.

Majestic and stunning, it’s not surprising the makers of the film decided to use this image in the film. According to Vicky Kaushal, Katrina was pretty confused when he mentioned to her about her cameo in the film.

At the trailer launch, Tripti Dimri looked pretty in a short shimmery black dress with gold embellished straps. She paired her LBD with a pair of strappy black heels. Vicky Kaushal looked comfortable in his signature black-on-black style but added a hint of colour with his pastel blue shirt. Ammy Virk attended the launch in a chequered cropped jacket paired with a classic white shirt and blue denim jeans. Also, present at the event were filmmaker Karan Johar and director Anand Tiwari

Packed with funny punch lines and impeccable comic timing, the trailer is a breath of fresh air in the world of rom-coms.
