After Ananya Pandey made headlines with her debut film Student of the Year 2 in 2019, it seems like another Pandey star kid is gearing up to enter Bollywood. Ananya’s cousin brother, Ahaan Panday will make his debut in acting with Yash Raj Films, one of the most prestigious production houses in India, and will featured in a love story.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Aditya Chopra, the head of YRF will be launching Ahaan Panday in his upcoming film and has also been grooming him for a while now. Reports also suggest that the filmmaker believes that Ahaan has the talent to emerge as a top star.

The development comes just a few days after it was reported that YRF has teamed up with director Mohit Suri for a “young love story.”

The report also reveals that the entire team plans to make this launch one of the biggest for a newcomer in the film industry. “Ahaan was signed as a YRF Talent about five years back and he has been going through intense training programs devised personally by Aditya Chopra,” Pinkvilla reported, citing a close source.

It is also said that Ahaan has been silently working with director Mohit Suri for the last few months to get into the mould of the upcoming film. While he has given multiple screen tests and auditions before signing part, Mohit also looks forward to introducing Ahaan as a “quintessential romantic hero” and exploring his potential in the spectacle.

While the title of the film is yet to be confirmed, the details about the lead actors have been also kept under wraps.

About Ahaan Panday

Ahaan Panday is the son of Chikki Panday, brother of actor Chunky Panday. His latest stint was as an assistant director for the Netflix web series, The Railway Men. He also took to his social media and also shared a group photo from the show’s wrap-up session, while penning down a long note on his experience.

“In the most cliched way to end this extremely unnecessary caption, I would like to say that the railwaymen & the railway men (our crew) taught me that there is beauty in the journey, and sometimes life forces you to think about where you’re going, but that’s exactly when you need to look out of that window and see the beauty in it all,” a part of the caption read.
